Arizona’s First Choice Medical Service is a group of supporting medical staff and dedicated providers. Our desire is to keep patients healthy by preventing diseases and illnesses while managing and treating existing ones. I grew a passion due being the one to having to interpret sign language for both of my parents who are both hearing impaired. |

I eventually began to interpret for my parent friends who were also hearing impaired. And it soon grew into the hearing-impaired community back home in Texas. This is where I felt that I was needed most and I can give back efficiently.
What do you love about your work?
I enjoy the most about my work is that I am being a part of a community of assisting senior that need it the most as we are their advocates. Building the rapports with patients and their families along with providing education that wasn't there before.
What do you do to give back to the community?
I do other personal things to give back to the community along with my family. I also put myself with assisting with the hard of hearing community here locally to give transportation to hard of hearing committee meetings and gatherings, interpreting sign-language for small groups that go out for outings and it becomes a lot more fun when you enjoy it mostly.
